As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for executing credit risk assessment processes for customers during both onboarding and post-onboarding stages.
You will be responsible for conducting holistic customer analyses, evaluating factors that increase or reduce credit risk, proposing appropriate mitigants, and advising the Credit Risk Manager on whether to continue the relationship. Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and sound judgment are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce well-supported customer credit risk analysis that involves analysis of customer financial situation, business model, industry, and other aspects of customer activity/performance.
- Collect internal and external sources of information such as financial statements, external credit reports, reviews, or any other information supporting credit risk analysis.
- Calculate credit risk exposure and recommend/apply necessary risk mitigants based on the analysis performed.
- Support event-driven or periodic review of customers portfolios in terms of credit risk verification during customer lifetime,
- Analyze and monitor customer business information, credit data, and financial statements to establish and maintain accurate risk mitigants for the existing portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Postgraduate studies or an MBA are highly appreciated.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in credit, economic, or financial analysis roles.
- Experience or knowledge in fraud analysis is highly appreciated.
- English level: intermediate to advanced.
