As a Payment Methods Leader , you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and expanding our portfolio of payment methods in Argentina. You’ll play a crucial role in connecting our platform with local and international payment rails, ensuring secure, efficient, and user-friendly payment experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall payment strategy across Argentina to support business growth objectives.
- Keep track of regulatory and industry standards and requirements from schemes and processors.
- Consolidate and validate data from various platforms to produce actionable insights and stakeholder reports.
- Actively collaborate with internal and stakeholders like risk operations, sales, payment partnerships, product and all the local processors and payment companies in Colombia.
- Monitor performance indicators to ensure the approval rate in these countries as need it.
- Identify and develop new opportunities for the business in Argentina.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 3- 5 years of experience in banking, digital payments, financial services, fintech businesses, payment aggregation, prepaid payment instruments, bill payments, intellectual property, and technology
- Knowing about the acquiring ecosystem in Argentin is a must. Good command of Excel, including Copilot features to support efficient data processing and reporting
- Ability to think through original new products, expansion into new market verticals and areas relating to innovative fintech and financial solutions.
- Experience in developing and implementing processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiations and processes. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
