As a Senior Payments Analyst in our Bogota hub, your mission is to take full ownership of the refund lifecycle across seven LATAM countries. In your first 90 days, you will be expected to master and streamline our multi-country protocols, ensuring that merchant refund requests are processed with 100% accuracy and speed, directly impacting Rapyd’s reputation for reliability in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure correct and timely refunds to merchants across 7 LATAM countries, strictly adhering to local protocols.
- Manage high-volume ticket requests from both merchants and internal stakeholders with a focus on resolution speed.
- Oversee the control and approval of discretionary movements, including Credit and Debit notes.
- Perform rigorous bank reconciliations between bank statements and our back-office systems.
- Monitor and report on key management indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks in the payment flow.
- Provide active support and subject matter expertise for payment team projects and regional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience within financial institutions (Banks), Treasury, or specialized Customer Service areas.
- Proven experience with payment platforms, electronic payments, or the Fintech sector.
- Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in Excel (data manipulation and reconciliation).
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
