Singapore, 17 December 2020 – Arcadier, the world’s fastest-growing marketplace builder technology company, is pleased to announce its partnership with Rapyd, a global Fintech-as-a Service company. As an official Payment Partner, Rapyd will provide its Global Payments Network to Arcadier’s marketplace operators, allowing them to accept local payment methods and improve payment experiences for buyers, while simplifying and accelerating local and international payouts to their existing sellers. The partnership has seen a successful implementation already, working together to deploy retail shopping mall Suntec’s online mall experience via their app Suntec+.
Compared to traditional eCommerce merchants, Marketplaces face a unique set of challenges: they have to integrate multiple Payment experiences for both Buyers and Sellers, such as collecting payments, paying sellers, split payments, subscriptions, foreign exchange, escrow, P2P transfers, and more. Through this partnership, Arcadier marketplaces can access the complete suite of Rapyd payment solutions, including Rapyd Collect, Rapyd Disburse, Rapyd Wallet, and Rapyd Issuing, at preferential rates. Small, medium, and large marketplace operators can now create flexible payment features and services and be differentiated from their competition.

The partnership has already seen one successful implementation of Rapyd’s payment solution on an Arcadier marketplace, despite the challenges of COVID-19: Suntec, one of the leading mall retailers in Singapore, created a multi-channel digital platform to help their retail tenants, including the launch of a Livestream Virtual Shopping Festival event in June 2020, powered by Arcadier and Rapyd’s capabilities.
