As a DBA (Database Administrator) you will be responsible for: 

Designing, implementing, and optimizing database systems based on user requirements.

Ensuring database performance, security, and regular backups.

Managing database indexes, partitions, and user access.

Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues, providing technical support.

• Collaborating with developers and IT teams on application issues and deployments.
• Planning for database scalability, upgrades, and data migration.
• Maintaining documentation and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Experience : Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in database administration.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in database technologies such as MSSQL Server, MySQL, Cassandra, DB2and SQL scripting.
• Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and high availability database setups.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery procedures, and data security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices for database management is a plus
• Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Azure SQL Database) is a plus

Working Conditions 

● The role may require on-call availability for handling urgent database issues.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
