Position Summary
Rapyd is looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven FinOps Pricing-Cost Analyst to join our FinOps-Pricing team in Dubai, covering Israel, Dubai, and Europe. This role sits at the intersection of finance, product, and payment operations, responsible for supporting the development, analysis, and optimization of the cost models that underpin our core payment and payout products. This is not a purely operational role – it offers real analytical exposure, from supporting cost-saving initiatives to helping build out the team’s AI-driven reconciliation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Strategy & Analysis
- Support the development, maintenance, and refinement of cost models for core payment and payout products, services, and features.
- Conduct monthly invoice reconciliations across roughly 20–30 gateway partners, comparing partner-reported costs against internal data sources (e.g., internal reports) to validate invoice accuracy.
- Assist in comprehensive cost analysis to improve cost capture within internal systems.
- Update and maintain cost parameters within the Rapyd Billing Organization (RBO) system to reflect negotiated gateway terms.
- Collaborate with the PayOps team to support cost strategies and RBO capability improvements, including flagging workarounds where the system doesn’t yet fully reflect real-world cost structures.
FinOps Pricing & Cost Analysis
- Support deep-dive analysis of underlying gateway costs, helping identify key cost drivers, utilization patterns, and optimization opportunities.
- Help implement and improve cost allocation methodologies to ensure costs are accurately recognized in RBO.
- Partner with Sales Engineering and Finance teams to support alignment of cost recognition between SAP and RBO.
- Contribute ideas for cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in cost analysis, invoice reconciliation, financial operations, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Exposure to or interest in AI tools is a strong plus; the team is actively moving from manual to AI-assisted reconciliation.
- Industry background open – fintech experience is not required; transferable cost analysis/reconciliation experience from other industries is welcome.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving processes, since gateway integrations and reconciliation workflows are still being built out.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work with PayOps, Finance, Sales Engineering, and the wider Pricing team.
- Good analytical mindset – able to work with varied, non-standardized data formats from different gateway partners without needing deep prior knowledge of each one.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work on high-impact, high-responsibility financial operations at a fast-growing global fintech.
- Involvement in building new AI-assisted reconciliation processes from the ground up – not routine, purely operational work.
