As a DBA you will be responsible for: 

• Projects and sprints planning
• Tasks assignments based on changing priorities
• Interaction with various stakeholders
• Developing our database strategy for proactive performance, tuning and high availability in a 24×7 production environment.
• Managing Development, Test, QA and Production databases and implementing future MySQL and MongoDB DB enhancements to meet the business needs
• Working with the development team to identify and resolve issues
• Responsibility for configuration, maintenance, upgrade, and patching procedures.

• At least 12+ years hands-on as DBA
• Proven experience of team managing- An advantage
• High Proficiency with MySQL (version 8.x) and MongoDB
• Linux system knowledge
• Analyze and resolve database system production problems
• Extensive knowledge of SQL programming and optimization
• Develop an understanding of the business and build strong relationships with the Architecture, Support, Operations and App Dev teams
• Proven experience in planning of complex DB architectures
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Fluent English

Advantages:

• Experience with MySQL cluster deployments in AWS environment
• Experience with MongoDB cluster or MongoDB Atlas managed service
• Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM
• A bachelors degree in a relevant domain
