As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for: 

• Builds, maintains and documents a reliable and consistent operational environment (development, testing, staging and production). 
• Collaborates with the development teams building and maintaining a reliable source control and continuous integration environment, and an automated deployment pipeline..
• Responsible for releases of new, stable software builds to production and acts as the expert in production change management  Simplifies the release process while maintaining safety, and collaborates with the security and QA operation team in this area.
• Contributes to troubleshooting of issues originating from the operation environments, as well as providing recommendations on how to improve routine operation and maintenance.
• Collaborates with development teams, implementation and support teams, Product Management, and the Service Monitoring teams in collecting and visualizing application telemetry and gives recommendations for performance and reliability improvements.
• Collaborates with the infrastructure team and other DevOps engineers on discovering ways to further automate provisioning, operation and software deployment within Rapyd.
• Assist and collaborates with infrastructure operations and drives planning and delivery of infrastructure changes in development projects (e.g. provisioning, installations, firewalls, networking)
• Stays current in the field of software development, infrastructure and DevOps.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or similar role. 
• Experience in Coding languages – .net/Python/JavaScript/Bash, or similar
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS / Google Cloud / Azure, or similar
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills
• Is open-minded and willing to learn
• Has great English skills, spoken and written, with a keen eye for details
• Has a desire to explain and simplify complex topics for people unfamiliar with them
• Experience with Flair or MKDocs experience is a plus
