About this Role

Rapyd is looking for a dynamic, high impact sales leader who is technically savvy, creative, with strong personal vision, and great people skills to lead Rapyd’s Enterprise Sales team in Asia Pacific and develop our core merchant relationships.


  • Leading and developing the APAC Enterprise Sales team
  • Establishing and growing a collaborative, delivery-oriented team culture
  • Defining and penetrating key segments across the Asia Pacific region
  • Iterating on our go-to-market strategies to develop our voice
  • Developing revenue bearing relationships with merchants and partners
  • Developing the regional pipeline business and go-to-market strategy
  • Monitoring the health of each relationship against performance metrics
  • Coaching the sales team members
  • Evangelizing the product and our network with key constituents
  • Informing the product roadmap based on the region’s needs
  • Representing Rapyd at partners and conferences
  • Building the Rapyd brand in the region and with the partner community


  • Must have proven talent ‘closing’ and beating measurable sales targets
  • Must have a minimum of 15 years in Sales and Business Development
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience managing enterprise sales teams
  • Must have at least 5 years in the payments or high-tech industries
  • Must have experience in a fast growing organization
  • Must have great writing and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of international and online payments
  • Good understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to payments and cross-border payments
  • Strong personal leadership skills
  • Flexible, creative thinker able to adapt to many environments
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-pressure or startup environment
  • Proven track record managing complex projects to completion
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, integration, and mobile technology important
  • Language fluency in an Asian language a plus
  • Local citizenship or permanent residency a plus
  • Ability to travel regionally
