We are looking for a Sales Manager to join the Rapyd EMEA Sales Team in supporting and signing clients to our Rapyd technology payments platform. A commanding knowledge of payments and the global payments ecosystem is desired for this role. This Sales Manager will need to understand payment technology stacks accompanied with a solid understanding of international payment types both inflow and disbursement of funds. The Sales Manager will not only be negotiating and signing new business in the EU but also supporting our sales and growth efforts in the Middle East and Africa. A strong acumen for closing complex deal cycles and contracts is preferred. Fluent in English is a must and additional European languages are ideal. Some travel required.

The Sales Manager will develop, sign, and push to close new business in the European region for Rapyd. As part of this role the Sales Manager will also support our Middle East and Africa Teams on their sales engagements:


  • Develop, pursue, and execute through to closing new business sales opportunities for Rapyd
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments for prospects focusing on their international payment business needs and strategic priorities
  • Execute in collaboration with the Sales Engineering team to deliver a solution that meets the client’s needs and drive revenue
  • Work closely with the SDR team to create and execute relationship-based calling plans for global corporate clients headquartered in the EU
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above quota results based on successful pipeline management
  • Function as a business partner to our global sales Team in supporting their sales and infrastructure goals
  • Achieve above quota sales results for our fast growing global payments enterprise


  • 5+ years of payments experience in sales for European multinational businesses- must
  • Experience in selling to B2B clients, marketplaces, logistics and supply chain management platforms is an advantage
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • Must be a Sales Hunter. Ability to prospect and drive net new sales in a very competitive payments technology environment
  • Understanding of payments technology and global payment methods
  • Ability to thrive in a startup organization environment that’s fast evolving
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Must have a passion for forward facing client involvement
  • Ability to create a strong collaborative work environment between the client and the enterprise
  • Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances client understanding of the enterprise
  • Leads by example with high energy, transparency, relationship management, and influencing skills
  • Must be self motivated and a self starter
  • Fluent English speaker. Additional European languages are a benefit
